Michael Vucurevich

Founder

For more than 30 years, Michael has successfully led complex, high-volume restaurants that evolve and prosper.

Michael’s track record as an executive, brand creator, and profitability guru puts him in an elite group within the restaurant industry. His absolute passion for his people and for systems that deliver premium and proven profit, combined with his unmatched creative abilities, make him one of the most sought-after concept developers in the world.

Michael brings his hands-on approach, decades of experience, and steadfast determination to every project he touches.

Known affectionately as “Mike V” by his team, and the thousands of managers who have worked for him over the years, his relationships within the industry run deep. His protégés now hold executive positions, from directors to CEO’s to presidents.

In 2004, he joined forces with one of his long-time protégés, Dan Simons, to found Vucurevich Simons Advisory Group (VSAG). Since then, Mike V has dedicated his expertise and passion for the hospitality industry to transforming good ideas into great businesses. From multi-unit concepts and boutique restaurants to global hotel brands and food trucks, he instinctively develops the right balance of menu, operations, and design elements with his unique touches that consistently set our clients’ concepts apart from the rest.

Applying his extensive experience to the development of the  Farmers Restaurant Group ‘s brand of restaurants, this growing entity is the ultimate testimony to Mike V’s ability to develop concepts, lead teams, and thrill investors. The upscale-casual, high-volume, all scratch food restaurant concepts continue to garner accolades in the press and deliver off the charts financial results.

Having grown up in Northern California, he has traveled the globe and lived not only in California, but also in New Orleans and Austin, Texas before settling in Washington, D.C.  He and his family love to travel and experience the sites, music, arts, theater, amusements, and of course all kinds of food along the way.
